My artistic practice embraces a wide range of media (2D and 3D) investigating the intrinsic structure of natural and man-made objects based on my own photographs. In recent years I have concentrated on printmaking (screenprinting in particular, working in the Volcanic Editions’ studio run by Ian Brown in Brighton).
 

I tend to develop ongoing bodies of work (‘projects’) focussing on recurrent themes, including: The Crow & Birdland; Trees & Roots; Lines; and (since March 2022) Skyscapes. Skyscapes, based on my photographs of dawns, dusks and clouds, are multiscreen monoprints and represent a departure in technique. I started making them as an experiment, following the sudden death of my husband and recently finished the 100th one in the series. I expect to continue work on this project for the foreseeable future.
