Hello there! I am an Eastbourne-based artist who works across painting, ceramics, textiles and animation. I love to create art about the feminine experience, the mind and spirituality.
I graduated from Kingston University in 2023 with a degree in Illustration Animation. For my degree show, I presented BH1959, a mixed-media installation that reimagined the life of a Roman-era woman discovered on the Sussex Downs in the 1950s, known as the Beachy Head woman or BH1959. The work was a form of speculative archaeology, imagining how life may have been for a young woman living in Roman Britain.
Alongside my studio practice, I trade at independent markets, selling ceramics and art prints. I also sell home-made rabbit stuffed toys, which I call “slimpies”. Slimpy is a character I created a few years ago, and my obsession with him only grows.
