My artwork is rooted in my upbringing in a slate mining town in the rugged North Wales landscape. 

The dramatic mountains, unpredictable weather, and evolving post-industrial terrain are always inspiring and always in my mind's eye.
 

I studied at Camberwell School of Art and at the Royal Academy Schools in London.
 

After several years in London, I relocated to East Sussex, where the stunning coastal scenery is now beginning to influence my current work.
